A dozen or so slightly overlapping circles form the Oleb Books logo.

Teresa Elguézabal is a retired attorney from Baltimore, Maryland.  She writes stories of her Mexican immigrant life. Her story from Oleb Books’ Firsts, “Sleeveless at Least,” is part of another memoir in progress about getting a grip on her identity after an auto-pedestrian collision disabled her.  Modified essays from that memoir appear in The Urbanite and This I Believe.  Also, “How I Rated,” her in-the-flesh perspective of the way legal procedures measure disabilities, appears in the Maryland Bar Journal.

Author Teresa Elguézabal’s Oleb Books titles include: Firsts: Coming of Age Stories by People With Disabilities
